Motorists and other road users alike plying the federal road along Sabongidda/Uhonmora axis of Owan West LGA of Edo state can now heave a deep sigh of relief as the Leader, House of Representatives and Iseghede of Owanland, Prof. Julius Omozuanvbo Ihonvbere on Friday, 12th September flagged off the rehabilitation of the failed portions of the road.
Prof. Ihonvbere was represented at the flag-off ceremony by one of his Senior Legislative Aides, Hon. Kelvin Esemuze while the community Head of Uhonmora-Ora, Chief (Barr.) Imiewarin, represented by his Ukor, Mr Oje Igbavboa, performed the flag-off formalities in the company of High Chief Okhawe Asueime.
The brief ceremony which took place at the construction site at Uhonmora-Ora was witnessed by several APC loyalists in the LGA led by Hon. Monday Ogbeta as well as some members of the women and youth bodies in the community.
More updates on the road rehabilitation project would be provided in due course.
